Welcome to our discussion of alternatives to the Agenda Planners
The Premier Agendas are a costly tool. We have been able to finance that tool in the past. The school district will no longer be able to fund the Agendas. We are unable to pass this cost along to families. We could offer the tool on a voluntary basis, but that creates logistical problems such as how many to order. We could put Agendas on the supply list, but then we lose quality control.
So, the issue becomes how do we accomplish what the Agenda does relative to organization and communication with families and do it in an efficient, useable manner? How do we best use the technology available to us and to our students to accomplish this goal? How do we tap into the motivation that technology provides to assist students in their ability to organize?
Please contribute your thoughts in the space provided on the discussion tab. Thanks ahead of time for providing valuable input in this decision as to how to proceed for next school year!
